FoxNet is thrilled to be participating in the 7th Annual Bowl for Kid’s Sake!
It’s the signature fundraising event of Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada that will take place from February 22 – March 13, 2015. Local teams in caring communities across Canada will challenge each other to a fun-filled evening of bowling, pizza and laughs, all while giving back to a fantastic organization.
Community building, contribution and teamwork are the heart of our business, and over the past six years, our lively team has proudly raised over six thousand dollars!
Every year in the Waterloo Region, 1200 children and youth benefit from life-changing mentoring programs through Big Brothers Big Sisters. The organization is inspiring the next generation to realize their full potential.
Last year, over 40 Waterloo Region teams came together to support this incredible event and increase public awareness. They raised a remarkable $29,000 to support vital programming and services for local youth! The FoxNet team, (see photos of last year’s bowl), was delighted to raise over $2900, yet we were beat by the BDO Team who raised an impressive $4500!
This year, in the spirit of friendly tech-sector competition, we are excited to increase our fundraising goal, lace up our bowling shoes and practice our strikes! We want to continue our Top Tech Town Team streak! Together we can inspire the lives of young people in our community, support a brighter future, and create lasting change.
