Customers and partners turned out in force for Foxnet’s 10th annual golf tournament, held at Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo (recent home of the LPGA Classic).  Eighty –eight golfers tee’d up for the August 16th event for a best ball scramble, followed by a banquet and prize raffle that included a bevy of goodies from bikes, to sound systems, to smokers and big screen TVs.

A massive thank you to our customers, including ComDev, University of Western Ontario, Open Text, Home Hardware, University of Waterloo, Conestoga Rovers, Arcelor Mittal/Dofasco and Investor’s Group for turning out to support FoxNet and KidsAbility. We are overwhelmed always by your continued commitment to our team.

A huge shout out goes to our tournament sponsors, HP, Intel, NetApp, Arrow, Avnet and our prize sponsors the local offices of VMware and Cisco, who helped to make the day very special for all involved.  This year’s expanded number of tournament sponsors speaks both to the popularity of this annual golf event here in Southwestern Ontario, and the strength of our relationship with our vendors – who continue to support FoxNet’s business success at every step.

All of the fun and silliness (including a rock paper scissors tie-breaker to determine best putter) aside, the big winner of the day was KidsAbility’s Centre for Child Development, a very special organization providing rehabilitation services for children with a wide range of special needs. FoxNet is a longtime supporter of KidsAbility, and we were delighted to present Lisa Talbot with a cheque for $24,770 representing proceeds raised in this year’s tournament. In total, FoxNet has raised $92,364 on behalf of KidsAbility since 2004.
